Lindsey Cummins

Board of Directors

Lindsey Cummins (she/her) is a Kentucky-based curator, writer, & arts advisor. In 2020, she co-founded Printed, a grassroots collective and annual zine  building community through the accessibility of print media. In 2023, Printed’s zine library became Papertrail, a traveling exhibition of zines and art books. Printed and Papertrail are projects of Kudzujelly, a 501c3 connecting Kentucky artists through publishing and programming. As a curator, Lindsey and her life partner El Bruner form a collaboration, combining their passions for art and design to create community-centric art projects that prioritize care and experimentation. Since 2020, through AVID, Lindsey has been advising patrons, collections, arts organizations, and foundations—including Kentucky’s Great Meadows Foundation. Lindsey received her education at Louisville’s Hite Art Institute with degrees in Studio Art and Art History. She is a member of the International Association of Curators of Contemporary Art (IKT).
