Recording Booth

Time in the oral history booth is available in minimum two-hour sessions during Portland Museum’s weekly days of operation.

  • Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from: 11AM to 1PM, 1PM to 3PM, and 3PM to 5PM
  • Saturdays from: 10AM to 12PM, 12PM to 2PM, and 2PM to 4PM

In consideration of these limited hours, please reserve a maximum of four hours/two slots per week. If you need more time than this for your project, please contact us.

Upon your arrival, please check in with William at the Portland Museum front desk who will have you sign a form ensuring safe usage of the equipment, then enjoy! If you’d like to have your form signed and ready before your visit, it is linked below:
