As covered in August, 2025’s Portland Anchor, our neighborhood association Portland Now, Inc. (PNI) recently brought on nine new directors all of who have “have strong ties to the neighborhood and a deep desire to work in collaboration with others to advocate for the common good of Portland.” In celebration of their joining the ten returning directors we hosted alongside PNI a community picnic where neighborhood residents could meet the PNI board, make their thoughts and dreams on Portland known, and eat some free foot grilled up on site!
The weather wasn’t the greatest, but Portland came out strong in spite of it! Neighbors spoke, plans for Portland were made, and friendships begun!
