Scott is in his first year of retirement after 40+ years of Executive level relational sales in the marketing and corporate communications fields. He was a VP and original member of three startup companies that grew from no name recognition to industry leader positions. He has opened offices in Cincinnati, New York, Washington D.C. and traveled internationally for his assignments.
Scott has been a Board member for the American Marketing Association, two term President for the American Marketing Association – Louisville Chapter and Alumni Board member, Dept. of Religious Studies, Indiana University. He is an Elder, Deacon and a 25-year 6th, 7th and 8th grade Sunday School teacher at Second Presbyterian Church.
Scott has a 29-year-old successful daughter business owner. He has a B.A. in Religious Studies. Scott currently volunteers as a curator at the KY Science Center. He also repairs donated bikes for Pedal Power a non-profit that has fixed, repaired and given away over 10,000 bikes in Louisville to the homeless, newly arrive immigrants and any in need of a break.
