We reached out to twenty different printmakers who’ve made an impact on CeLOUbrate Print over the years and asked them to create an original piece of artwork centered on the themes of adventure and discovery. The resulting 18 pieces represent a wide variety of interpretations and printmaking techniques, and give an amazing visual peek into Portland Museum’s creative ideals for the upcoming AHOY Children’s Museum! Alongside appearing in the exhibit, each artist will receive a copy of every print featured in the show, a practice known as a print exchange.
